Outgoing phone call from the Intercom system
Phone call by dialling the telephone interface manually
At the Intercom station, dial the call number of the telephone interface. As soon as the call to the
respective telephone interface is set up, the Intercom station receives the “dial tone“ signal. Now, you
can (after-)dial the desired call number.
In addition to the numeric buttons “0” to “9”, the following telephone buttons can be dialled at the
Intercom station:
It is also possible to define a number that is automatically pre-dialled before the telephone number is
dialled, e.g. an exchange number for dialling out or for selecting a certain provider.
After-dialling at the telephone
For outgoing phone calls set up by dialling the respective telephone interface manually in PABX mode,
no after-dialling is possible at the telephone by default (i.e. also no cancelling of the call by pressing
the button “#”). By means of a configuration in CCT 800, it is possible to activate the after-dialling func-
tion individually for telephones (
see “After-dialling at the telephone (outgoing phone call)” on page 26
Phone call by direct outward dialling
It is possible to define several phone numbers per telephone interface (via the “PA function“;
“Phone call by direct outward dialling” on page 26
), which can be dialled directly at the Intercom sta-
tion without the need to pre-dial the number of the telephone interface.
NOTE: Configuration
In case of outgoing phone calls (via dialling the telephone interface manually or direct outward dialling),
no password has to be entered on the telephone, even if a password is configured in CCT 800. This is
only valid for calls from the telephone to the Intercom system (
see “Incoming call from the telephone to
the Intercom system” on page 23
). Additionally, no speech messages are put out at the telephone or at
the Intercom station.

NOTES: Phone call by direct outward dialling
In CCT 800, 41 telephone number entries per telephone interface are possible.
By means of “wildcards”, it is possible to integrate several phone numbers with only one entry in
CCT 800 (
see “Define a range of numbers via wildcards” on page 23
).
This function is only available for max. 4-digit call numbers (PA codes; max. 4-digit; see manual
“
PRO 800 Basic
”).
At least one “dummy” relay contact is required.
In spite of this configured function, however, a call can be set up by dialling the telephone interface
manually (
see “Phone call by dialling the telephone interface manually”
