Button Definitions
There are two possible ways of programming:
Predefined functions
The most common functions (e.g. direct dialling button with indication of call requests) can easily be
defined in the folder “Predefined functions” in the folder of the respective EE 8000 at “Station proper-
ties”. For most applications these functions are sufficient,
see ”Predefined Functions” on page 29
Manual Button- /Indication function
The predefined functions can furthermore be adapted manually,
see ”Manual Button- / Indication Func-
Attention:
In standard, indication at the modules for stations/inputs/outputs is carried out only in the
same Intercom Server as the industrial station! However the indication (at the modules) can be activat-
ed for an expanded Intercom Server block at “Intercom Server - Block No.” – “General”.
In the combo-box “Direct dialling buttons - block” the Intercom Server block is selected, to which an
indication, like e.g. a busy indication information, shall be transmitted.
Attention:
With S0 resp. IP networked systems this can lead to telephone costs resp. bandwidth
problems.
Button/LED numbers for Programming
Every button of the industrial station has an unique number in CCT. The number is comprised of the
number of the housing and the button number, e.g. “01/06” for button 6 of the 1st housing (EE 8999M)
or “02/12“ for button 12 of the 2nd housing (1st EE 8999S).
At the 1st housing (EE 8999M) a total of 14 buttons can be programmed.
At the 2nd and 3rd housing (EE 8999S) a total of 18 buttons can be programmed respectively.
