Light at attendance
If the function “Light at attendance” is activated, the system switches the light on automatically when
“attendance 1” or “attendance 2” is activated via the key switch. For further information regarding the
attendance function,
see ”Attendance function” on page 14
.
For the function “Light at attendance”, define an additional input as “indicator status light” (
dication (indication of state)
If the light in the cell is already switched on, the light would be switched off when the latching relay
is energised at “attendance”. To avoid this, the system switches the latching relay at “attendance”
by means of the “indicator status light” only if the light is switched off.
If the “indicator status light” input is not activated after switching “attendance”, the latching relay
will be energised every ten seconds until the input is activated.
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to activate the function “Light at attendance”:
Select
Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > # - Station # > Light >
tab
Latching relay for light
.
Activate the field
Light at attendance
if the light should be switched automatically on at “attend-
ance”.
Define any type for
Indicator COMWIN
if the light indicator is only required for “Light at attend-
ance” and no indication of the light state is needed. This is because at
Indicator control desk mes-
sage
, the system reserves one of the inputs (“IN1” to “IN3”) as light indicator.
Light indication (indication of state)
The status of the light can be read in via an input of the EB8E4A. It is possible to indicate the status in
the following ways (is not required when using a relay):
Indicator control desk message
: The control desk indicates the input as input message.
Indicator COMWIN
: Via an ICX message, the light state can be inquired. The system answers with
a message of which two digits (“TT”) can be freely defined. Optionally, it is possible to put out all
changes or to inquire the light state only once.
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to activate the function
Indicator control desk mes-
sage
:
Select
Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > # - Station # > Light >
tab
Indicator control desk message
.
In the drop-down list
Simulated input no.
, define the desired input (“IN1” to “IN3”).
Activate the desired input at
Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A
so that
an input message will be indicated at the control desk (level “Short”).
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to activate the function
Indicator COMWIN
:
Select
Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > # - Station # > Light >
tab
Indicator COMWIN
.
In the drop-down list
Type ICX
, define
the first two digits of parameter 2 (“00” to “FF”).
