PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
OPERATION & FUNCTIONS:
FAN OPERATION:
Always operate the fan in the upright
position following all instructions and recommendations listed
in this manual.
FAN LOCATION:
Place the fan in the area of the room that will
provide proper fan cooling.
FAN CONNECTION:
Plug fan directly into 120 volt A.C., 60 Hz
wall outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet. A loose connection
may cause overheating and damage to the plug or fan.
NOTE:
To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the fan into a circuit
that is servicing other electrical needs.
ON/OFF FUNCTION
: Press the button on the control panel
or the remote once to turn the fan ON. The fan will start on
MEDIUM speed in the Comfort mode. Press again to turn
the fan OFF.
MODE FUNCTION:
Press the button to select Comfort,
Nature or Sleep mode. In each mode, press the Speed
Setting button to choose the mode that's right for you.
NOTE:
When used in Normal mode, the fan speed is
randomly adjusted, giving the feeling of a natural breeze.
COMFORT MODE
- Fan speed is consistent with the speed
chosen and operates like a standard fan.
1. HIGH SETTING: Keeps the fan at constant high speed.
2. MEDIUM SETTING: Keeps the fan at constant medium
speed.
3. LOW SETTING: Keeps the fan at constant low speed.
NATURE MODE
- Designed to replicate natural and varying
wind speeds.
1. HIGH SETTING: The fan will spend 5 seconds each at
MED, LOW, HIGH, MED, HIGH, LOW, HIGH, STOP and
repeat in a cycle.
2. MEDIUM SETTING: The fan will spend 5 seconds each
at MED, LOW, MED and will repeat in a cycle.
3. LOW SETTING: The fan will spend 5 seconds at LOW
power and 5 seconds OFF and repeat in a cycle.
SLEEP MODE
- Fan will vary the fan speed like Natural
mode and will gradually decrease the speed in 30 minute
increments. The speed will change as follows:
1. HIGH SETTING: The fan will run 30 minutes on high
setting, then 30 minutes on medium, and then continue
to operate on low.
2. MEDIUM SETTING: The fan will run 30 minutes on
medium setting and then continue to operate on low.
3. LOW SETTING: The fan will run same as low setting in
Nature mode.
NOTE:
When used with the timer, the fan will ultimately
switch off. If you would prefer a constant fan speed when
sleeping, set the fan to Normal mode and select speed as
LOW. Use the Timer function to set the fan to switch off
after an elapsed time (e.g. 1 hour after going to bed).
