9. Put the aluminum legs (with leg cover) on the solar panel.
10. Remove the protective film from the glazed clear cover.
NOTE: Ensure all hose connections are tight and that the hoses are not kinked or bent at severe angles. If the
hoses are leaking, check to make sure all of the parts that have O-Rings have them attached and are screwed
on tightly. Do not over tighten the hose clamps.
Connecting the panel to an Intex pool
If you have an Intex pool you will need the Solar Heating Connection Kit (not included). This connection kit can
be used to connect the solar panel with your Intex pool system. With the help of the Intex adaptor and stainless-
steel clamp from the Solar Heating Connection Kit, attach the provided hose onto the pool filter, then onto the
solar panel (following the regular instructions). The flex hose returning to the pool inlet is the 1½
”
flex hose from
the Connection Kit. Attach this hose with the other Intex adaptor and stainless-steel clamp to the pool inlet.
