not tip over.

USAGE:
HEATER OPERATION:
Always operate the heater in the upright
position following all instructions and recommendations listed
in this manual.
HEATER LOCATION:
Place the heater in the area of the room
that is coldest. Do not place near combustible materials.
HEATER CONNECTION:
Plug heater directly into 120 Volts AC,
60Hz wall outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet. A loose
connection may cause overheating and damage to the plug
or heater.
NOTE:
To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater
into a circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.
The heater has three heat settings: 600 Watts (LOW), 900 Watts
(MEDIUM) and 1,500 Watts (HIGH). Use the 1,500 Watts setting
to raise the room temperature quickly while thermostat control is
at its highest setting. (During the heaters initial use, you may
experience a slight odor or smoking. This is the result of residual
lubrication on the steel “burning off”. This is normal and will go away
after a few minutes of use.) When desired temperature is reached,
the 900 Watts setting should be sufficient to maintain a comfortable
temperature in most situations.
TURNING HEATER ON:
Once plugged into an outlet, the heater is in
STANDBY mode, and the ON/STANDBY INDICATOR lights up. Touch
the ON/STANDBY INDICATOR button to start the heater.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
This heater is equipped with Digital
Controls that provide the ability to set the temperature to the exact
degree desired. To operate, simply follow these instructions.
NOTE:
The display will always show the set temperature and will not
display the room temperature.
NOTE:
Once plugged in, the heater is in STANDBY mode and can be
adjusted to begin heating. Leave in STANDBY if you plan to use the
ANTI-FROST FUNCTION. See below.
MODE:
1. Touch the MODE button to switch heating modes. The heater
will cycle through heat settings as you press the button.
“3” is HIGH setting, “2” is MED setting and “1” is LOW setting.
2. When setting the MODE, the MODE button is highlighted and the
display window will show the “3-2-1” heat setting. Once the
heating mode is set, after 3 seconds the display window will change
to indicate the set temperature (default temperature is 77°F).
3. At any time when the heater is on and working, touch the MODE
once and the display will show the set mode. If no other adjustment
action is taken after 3 seconds, the display will change to indicate
the set temperature.
TEMPERATURE:
1. To set temperature, press the TEMPERATURE button and then use
the arrow keys to increase or decrease the temperature until you reach
the desired temperature. After 5 seconds, the set TEMPERATURE
will be locked in and displayed.
2. Before using the arrow keys to set the temperature, you must
press the TEMPERATURE button. The arrow keys will not function
if the TEMPERATURE button is not pressed first.
3. To switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, press and hold the
TEMPERATURE button 5 seconds. You can switch back to Celsius
by pressing and holding the TEMPERATURE button again.
4. In Fahrenheit mode, the default control temperature is 77°F and the
temperature range is 59°F - 95°F. In Celsius mode, the default
control temperature is 25°C and the temperature range is 15°C - 35°C.
NOTE:
After the heater is turned off or a power outage occurs, the
heater will remember whether it was in Celsius or Fahrenheit mode.
There will be no need to reset this after power is cut to the heater.
