Even if two classes have the same number of students
(such as Classes 1 and 3 or Classes 2 and 6), you can
configure the settings as follows to output the number of
copies per class.
■ About the Separation Settings
[Sort]
Set the [Sort] option to [Uncollated] to copy by page.
Set to [Collated] to make copies in sets.
[Slip Sheet]
When this option is set to [OFF], slip sheets are not
inserted.
When this option is set to [Between Sets], a slip sheet is
inserted between each set.
When this option is set to [Between Groups], a slip sheet
is inserted between each group.
[Paper]
Specify the paper tray in which slip sheets are loaded.
[Number Printing]
Set this option to [ON] to print numbers.
The group number and set number are printed when this
option is set to [Between Sets], and only the group
number is printed when this option is set to [Between
Groups].
You can register up to 12 programs and call them
whenever necessary.

Touch [Program].
The [Program] screen is displayed.

Touch [No Entry], and then touch
[Edit].
The program edit screen is displayed.

Enter the number of copies and sets
using the numeric keys.

Touch [Separation].
The separation screen is displayed.

Set the sort and slip sheet options.
Set the [Paper] and [Number Printing] options as
well if necessary.

Touch [OK].
The [Confirm] screen is displayed.

Select [Overwrite] or [Register As].
To save by giving it a name, enter a program name
and touch [OK].
The registration is now complete.

Touch [OK].

Saving a Program
• If you are using the optional face down
finisher, the [Offset Output] function is also
available. For more information, see "Offset
Output ([Program])" (p. 8-7) in "Optional
Equipment".
