Staple
Select the stapling position.
If you select the left or the right for [Binding Edge], select
from the following options.
[OFF], 1 staple, 2 staples
If you select the top for [Binding Edge], select from the
following options.
[OFF], left 1 staple, right 1 staple, 2 staples

Touch [Staple].

Select the original orientation.

Configure [Binding Edge].

Configure [Staple].

Touch [OK].
■ Binding Margin
You can specify the binding margin so that staples are
not in the printing area.

Touch [Binding Margin] on the
[Staple] screen.
The [Binding Margin] screen is displayed.

Specify the binding margin.
• Select [Binding Edge].
• Use [
], [ ], or the numeric keys to enter the
width.
• If part of the printing area is missing due to the
binding margin setting, set [Auto Reduction] to
[ON].

Touch [OK].
When [Program] is used, each set of printed
documents is stacked slightly apart from one
another to create separation.
For more information on the program, see
"Program" (p. 1-18) in "Copy".
[OFF]
Offset output is not performed.
[Between Sets]
Each set of printed documents is stacked slightly apart
from one another.
[Between Groups]
Each group of printed documents is stacked slightly apart
from one another.
• The left 1 staple and the right 1 staple are
displayed only when the top is selected for
[Binding Edge].
