SET UP A WORKING LINK FOR 1+0 CONFIGURATION
To set up a working link, follow:
1. Install Antenna (refer to Comba 0.3m_0.6m Antenna QI 1-0-0 / Comba 1.2m Antenna QI 1-0-0).
2. Coarse antenna adjustment (refer to Comba 0.3m_0.6m Antenna QI 1-0-0 / Comba 1.2m
Antenna QI 1-0-0).
3. Attach FOS onto Antenna (refer to Section 4.2 in this document).
4. Power on FOS (refer to section 4.3.3 in this document).
5. Launch CIT (refer to section 5.2 in this document).
6. Go to “Local”

”RF”, make sure SSPA is on. Then set up TX Power as specified in datasheet.
To enable SSPA, follow:

Go to “Local”/”Remote”

“SSPA”.

Select “on” / “off” via “Tab” key to enable / disable SSPA and press “Enter” to accept this
selection.
To set up TX power, follow:

At the main menu, select “Local”/”Remote”

“Tx Power”. Press “Enter” key to
confirm each selection.

Max. and Min. values have been given, user needs to set up the Tx power within the setting
range. Input the required value into “Set” field and press “Enter” to accept this change. The
resultant value will show up in the “Cur” field.
7. Configure the Tx Frequency:
To set up transmitter frequency, follow:

Go to “Local”/”Remote”

“Tx/Rx Freq”. Press “Enter” key to confirm each step.

Max. and Min. values have been given, user needs to set up the Tx frequency within the
setting range. Input the required value into “Set” field and press “Enter” to accept this
change. The resultant value will show up in the “Cur” field. Meanwhile, the receiver
frequency can be read from the following window.
8. Make sure Link ID of both ends is identified
To set up link ID, follow:

Go to “Local”/”Remote”

“Link ID”. Press “Enter” key to confirm each step.

Input the expected value into “Set” filed and press “Enter” key to confirm the setting.
9. Fine antenna adjustment (refer to Comba 0.3m_0.6m Antenna QI 1-0-0 / Comba 1.2m Antenna
QI 1-0-0).
