Important Safety Instructions
When using your PVC Self-Propelled Shower/Commode Chair, always take basic safety precautions to reduce
the risk of injury to persons.
1.
Read and understand all instructions.
2.
Determine, with a physician or therapist, the suitability of this product for the intended user.
3.
Do not leave user unattended unless you have determined that their abilities and requirements are
such that it poses no safety risk to leave them unsupervised.
4.
Place your PVC Self-Propelled Shower/Commode Chair on a level surface; do not use near steps or
other hazards.
5.
Keep your PVC Self-Propelled Shower/Commode Chair clean and sanitary.
6.
Check regularly that all bolts, casters, Wheel Locks engage properly, Footrest and other parts are
tight and in good working order.
7.
Be sure that all Caster Locks are engaged before transferring a patient in or out of unit. It is
further suggested that all transfers be performed by at least two (2) care givers to ensure
safety.

Assembly of PVC Self-Propelled Shower/Commode Chair
Installing Backrest
1.
Place the back frame into the Shower/Commode Chair.
2.
Install the (2) set screws provide with unit, make sure they are tightened down, Do Not Over Tighten.
3.
Install Backrest Cover.
