Most Up-to-Date Universal Library
The DRC800 allows you to control most of your entertainment electronics with one remote. The
DRC800 Universal library includes codes for TVs, VCRs, DVDs, DVRs, Audio Amplifiers, Tuners,
Home-Theaters, TV/DVD combos and TV/VCR combos.
Mode Lights
This feature allows you to know which device mode they are using when pressing a button.
Volume Lock
Lock the volume to a specific device (i.e.: TV, Audio component, STB). Perfect for home theaters.
Step and Set (Enhanced Search Method)
Set up your electronic devices without a 4-digit code. The DRC800 will scan codes until it finds
the appropriate code. This feature is very useful if you lose your user guide.
Memory Retention
Feature will allow codes to be held in memory for a period of time after batteries are pulled out
of remote or a loss of power.
Blink Out
Allows you to identify the code of a specific device that is programmed into the DRC800. Helpful
in conjunction with Step and Set feature.
Interactive Program Guide
The DRC800 supports various commercially deployed electronic program guides (EPG).
Parental Control Access
Thru the EPG you can easily access a program’s guide parental control feature.
Favorite Channel
After you program your favorite channels thru the EPG you can easily jump from favorite
channel to favorite channel just by pressing the “fav” key on the DRC800.
Last
Go back to the last channel you were watching easily and conveniently by pressing the “last” key
on the DRC800. Also an aide for navigating in EPG applications.
Help
Use the “help” key any time while using their EPG. Easily learn about a specific feature by yourself.

Get information about a program you're watching or want to watch by pressing the “info ” key
on the DRC800.

Instant Replay
With Instant Replay,* you can go back to see the last play of the game or replay the last scene

Swap
Because your DVR has two tuners, it can buffer (temporarily record) two different programs at
the same time. While recording two programs, you can watch and control either program up to
the point of live TV by using the SWAP button on your remote. The SWAP button allows you to
toggle between two live programs while retaining control of both.
• Press
SWAP.
• Select an alternative program by changing the channel.
• Press SWAP again to toggle between the two.
NOTE:
The SWAP button is the key to keeping the buffer for both programs. If you change channels
without using SWAP, you will lose the buffer.
* Some remotes are equipped with Instant Replay and LIVE buttons.
View Programs Stored in Your
