MANUAL

9. BATTERY

29

Charging the batteries:

Plug the charger into the golf Cart then plug the charger into a 110V receptical

There is a charging indicator directly below the driver side of the seat.  The

indicator shows the current charge state of the batteries

 Red (< 80%);
 Yellow (> 80%);
 Green (100%);
When the indicator light is green, it indicates that the battery is fully charged. You

can unplug the charging cable.

1. The batteries will loose power while in storage.  If the battery is idle and not

charged for a long period of time,  the life of the battery will be greatly reduced.

Always charge batteries periodically while in storage to obtain the intended life.

2. Use  a  multimeter  to  check  the  voltage of each battery. Generally, the voltage of

a single battery will reach  12V when fully charged; If the voltage of one of the

batteries is significantly lower than that of the others, the battery with low voltage

may have a short circuit inside a single cell. If this is the case,   take the vehicle to

an authorized service center.   Request the authorized service center to check and

deal with it, so as not to damage the other batteries. Secondly, check the charging

parameters of the charger.
3. Prevent exposure to the sun

Sun  exposure  will  cause  the  battery  temperature  rise,  the  battery

internal  pressure  increase  and  the  pressure  limiting  valve  open,  this  will

increase  water  loss,  and  reduce  the  gas  potential  of  the  battery,  thereby

affecting  battery life.
4. With a new vehicle, the accelerator pedal should be gently depressed to start

off.   Gradualy get to desired speed.   If the throttle pedal is depressed quickly,

the motor current rapidly increases and will disharge the battery quickly.   The

voltage will drop, resulting in  reduction of battery life.

5. It is a normal phenomenon that the battery capacity decreases with the

decrease of temperature in winter. With 20

  a s the standard, the capacity is

generally 80%
