5.3.3.3 Link Wifi
After the registration in the COINTRA ELECTRIC Application of the first COSMOS emitter ac -
quired, and indistinctly for the next COSMOS emitters that are added, we must link the emitter to
a Wifi network to be able to manage it remotely.
First, the emitter’s own Wifi Network must be enabled; we will position on the Link Wifi option and
after touching the OK key, two things will happen:
• The COSMOS emitter will go into emission mode in its own Wifi Network (this
is necessary for the linking process).
• An information screen will appear with the Wifi Network of the COSMOS
emitter. The mobile device will be in contact with the Wifi emitter (STEP 2 of
the Pairing Process) in one of the 2 following ways:
1 - Reading this QR directly with the camera of the mobile device
2 - Entering the Network Name and Password indicated on the screen:
NETWORK NAME: COI_01
PASSWORD: 02012108
From this “LINK WIFI” screen, if no key is touched for 5 minutes, the emitter will return to the last
operating mode.
Once the process with the Application has started, and while the Link Wifi screen
is active, if an error occurs in the process due to:
- Unexpected interruption of the linking process with the Wifi network
- Incorrect introduction from the Application of the password of the Wifi net -
work to be linked
- Manual interruption of the process with the OK or Mode key
The text “NOT LINKED” will appear on the screen and then the emitter will return
to the Wifi menu.
However, if through the Application, while the Link Wifi screen is active:
- It is possible to successfully establish the physical link of the Wifi emitter to
the desired Wifi network:
The word “LINKED” will appear, with the Name of the linked Wifi network in -
dicated at the bottom of the screen, and then the emitter will return to the last
operating mode.
Once the emitter has a Wifi network linked, and as long as it is connected, the Wifi symbol will
appear on all operating screens (see page this manual).
5.3.3.4 Wifi Network
This menu will only appear when the Wifi emitter already has a linked Wifi network. It will continue
to be selectable provided it is linked to a Wifi network.
On this menu screen there are 2 options available, which can be selected with the
q
and
p
keys,
and by touching the OK key when the desired option is highlighted.
