Configuration Screen
The
Configuration
screen is divided into three main sections:
CGMiner Configuration
,
System
Configuration
and
Web Panel Configuration
.
CGMiner Configuration
This section allows you to configure the
Pool Settings
,
Pool Strategy
, and perform
Advanced
operations.
Pool Settings
URL
This is the URL address of the mining pool.
Worker Name
If you are using an open pool (such as Eligius), enter your wallet address as the worker
name. If you are using a pool requiring registration, enter the worker name(s) created
on the pool’s website.
The Bitcoin worker name in the screenshot above is for example purposes only.
It is a live wallet for Sean’s Outpost (
), a charity
supported by the Bitcoin community. Please be aware that any Bitcoins mined
using this wallet address will be automatically sent to Sean’s Outpost.
Password
If you are using an open pool (such as Eligius), do not enter a password. If you are using
a pool requiring registration, enter the worker name password(s) here.
Priority
This setting dictates the priority when using the Failover pool strategy (see below.)
Quota
This setting dictates the quota setting for the Load Balance pool strategy (see below.)
Actions
You can
Add
additional pools, and
Edit
or
Remove
an existing pool entry by clicking on
the associated buttons.
Once you have added or modified a pool setting, restart CGMiner (see
Restart CGMiner
option below)
and the TerraMiner should begin mining a few seconds after CGMiner has restarted.
