Mounting
CAUTION : Make sure that the reader is grounded, either by mounting the
reader to a fixture that is electrically grounded or by attaching a wire from the
reader’s mounting fixture to frame ground or Earth ground. If using a ground
wire, attach it to one of the four mounting points on the back plate of the
reader; not to the mounting points on the front of the reader.
Mounting the DataMan reader at a slight angle (15°) can reduce reflections and
improve performance.
Use the set of mounting holes on the bottom part to mount the DataMan reader.
