  Machine may require descaling.
  Spray nozzel may need unblocking.
  Hose may be bent.
   Inlet to boiler may be blocked.
   Descale machine - if still defective - replace.

does not light,

machine will not brew

Overheating-switch is activated - reset with button.
Check microswicth.
Check float.

Check connection to boiler.
Boiler unit may need replacing.
