Indications
The CODMAN Slim-Line Aneurysm Clip
Applier is intended to be used for implantation
and removal of intracranial aneurysm clips
(CODMAN Slim-Line Aneurysm Clips).
Description
CODMAN Slim-Line Aneurysm Clip Appliers
are made of 410 stainless steel.
The CODMAN Slim-Line Standard Aneurysm
Clip Appliers are designed for use only with
the CODMAN Slim-Line Standard, Graft,
and Reinforcing Clips (catalog nos. 20-1600
through 20-1773).
The CODMAN Slim-Line Mini Aneurysm
Clip Appliers #6 and #7, are designed for
use with CODMAN Slim-Line Mini Aneurysm
Clips and Mini Temporary Aneurysm Clips #6
and #7. The #6 applier (catalog no. 20-1855)
must be used with #6 Mini Clips (catalog
nos. 20-1821 through 20-1829, and
20-1838) and #6 Mini Temporary Clips
(catalog nos. 20-1860 through 20-1862,
20-1870, 20-1872, and 20-1874). The #7
applier must be used with #7 Mini Clips
(catalog nos. 20-1831 through 20-1837,
and 20-1839) and #7 Mini Temporary Clips
(catalog nos. 20-1863 through 20-1869,
20-1871, and 20-1873).
Instructions for Use
To engage the latch mechanism, gently
squeeze the applier handles until the latch
elements lock. Applying further pressure to the
applier handles separates the latch elements
and disengages the latch mechanism.
