Specifications:
The Code3 Pedestal Mount Bracket is a 6.625 X 6.875 X 4.125 high bracket for mounting the SB48 Series Beacon in fire and ambu
-

Installation and Mounting:
Step 1.
Using the Pedestal Bracket as a template hold the bracket in position on the vehicle in the desired location. Mark the mount-
ing holes and the cable hole locations on the vehicle’s mounting surface (See Figure 1 below). Drill the mounting holes with a 3/16”
drill and the cable hole with a 5/16” drill. Mount the bracket to the vehicle using the (2) provided #14 X 3/4” long sheet metal screws
(See Figure 2 below).
Step 2.
Feed the SB48 Series Beacon’s cable/wires through the center hole in the beacon’s gasket, through the center hole in the
platform surface of the Pedestal Bracket then through the cable hole in the Pedestal Bracket’s mounting flange. Mount the beacon to
the bracket using the (4) provided #6-32 X 3/8” long black machine screws (See Figure 2 below). It is advisable to apply RTV sealant
around the cable where it enters in the vehicle mounting surface.
Step 3.
Route the wiring as desired to connect to the beacon to the vehicle wiring.
