11. INSTALLING THE 

LIGHT BULBS AND 

GLASS SHADE

NOTE:

 Before starting installation, disconnect 

the power by turning off the circuit breaker or 
removing the fuse at fuse box. Turning power 
off using the fan switch is not sufficient to 
prevent electric shock.

1. Install a 13 watt (max.) fluorescent lamps 
(included) for each socket. (Fig. 16)

2. Mount the glass shade to the light fixture by 
partially unscrewing the thumbscrews, inserting 
the glass shade, and then gently tightening the 
thumbscrews until the glass shade is secure. Do 
not over tighten. (Fig. 16)

3. Restore power and your light kit is ready for 
operation.

12. INSTALLING THE FAN 

WITHOUT THE LIGHT 

KIT

 (OPTIONAL)

1. Disassemble the switch housing cover from 
the light kit. You can keep the light kit for future 
use. (Fig. 17)

2. Attach the plastic plug to the switch housing 
cover.  

3. Install the switch housing cover to the 
switch housing with light kit mounting screws 
provided.
