Instructions
2.1 Unpack
Unpack the Cocoon AM/FM Camping Lantern & Torch and check you have all the components:
• 1 X AM/FM Camping Lantern & Torch
• 1 X Micro USB Cable
2.2 Charging - Micro USB
1.
Using the included cable, insert the micro USB end into the
AM/FM Camping Lantern & Torch slot located under the
orange cover.
2.
Insert the standard USB end into a USB power adaptor or
computer.
3.
The charging light will illuminate RED during charging.
4.
Once the AM/FM Camping Lantern & Torch is fully charged,
the charging light will change to green
Note: It may take between 2.5 to 4 hours to fully charge the camping lantern.
2.3 Charging - Dynamo Handle
1.
Flip up the orange dynamo handle into a position ready for
cranking, as per the image.
2.
Crank the dynamo handle steadily. The charging light will
illuminate RED as the handle is cranked.
3.
When finished, flip the dynamo handle back to its original
position.
Note: Do not crank the dynamo handle for longer than 5 minutes.
2.4 Charging an External Device
1.
Ensure the camping lantern is sufficiently charged.
2.
Insert the external device’s USB charging cable into the USB.
3.
Slide switch to ON to begin charging.
4.
When finished charging, slide switch to OFF to ensure the
camping lantern battery isn’t drained.
Note: The lantern may not charge tablets, iPads or devices with
higher voltage requirements.
