Connect the other end of the curly cord into the handset jack, as shown in the 
illustration.

Connect the cable from the power supply to the connector on the back of the 
phone and then plug the power supply into a household AC power outlet. The 
battery level will be displayed on the screen showing the status of the charging 
process.
