SOLUTION
Replace batteries.
Check AC adaptor
connection.
Reinsert disc with label disc
facing up.
Try another compact disc.
Closed lid securely.
Remove the disc, and leave
the compartment door open
for about one hour to dry the
moisture condensation.
Reinsert headphone cord
into headphones jack.
Increase the volume.
Replace with fresh batteries
or use AC power
Try another compact disc.
Clean or replace the compact
disc or clean the pickup lens.
Place the CD/MP3 Player on
a level surface that is stable
(no vibrations).
Slide the HOLD switch in
"OFF" position.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Press the RADIO/BAND button to turn on the RADIO.
2. Press the RADIO/BAND button again to select the desired band. (AM or FM)
3. Press the TUNING button “>>” or “<<” momentarily (less than 0.5 sec.) to step
up or step down the receiving frequency in order to select the desired station.
4. For auto tuning, press and hold the TUNING button “>>” or “<<” (more than 0.5
sec.) until the displayed frequency starts to change, then release the button.
Tuning will stop automatically when a station is received.
Note: To fine-tune the selected station, follow step 3 procedures to step up or
down to achieve best reception.
5. Press STOP button to turn off the unit.
TO IMPROVE BROADCAST RECEPTION
• For FM, extend the headphones or
earphoes cord.
• For AM, reorient the player itself.
Note: Keep the headphones / earphones connected to the PHONES jack of the
player. The headphones / earphones cord works as the FM antenna.
TROUBLE SHOOTING FOR RADIO RECEPTION
When auto scanning does not stop any station, or the reception is poor, it may due
to weakness of signal at the location you are standing, or external interference.
Please check as follows:
• Change the location where you standing.
• Fine-tune the tuned station by step up (Tuning Up Button) or down (Tuning
Down Button).
• Use manual tuning to get the desire station if above still not getting satisfactory
result.
STEREO/MONO SELECT (in FM band only)
- Press the ALBUM/ST/MONO button. If an actual stereo
broadcast station is being received, ST and tuned symbol
" " will appear on the display.
