Default Setting

Rating Level

Sets the maturity rating level of the player. 

The player will not play any discs rated 

higher than this setting.

There are eight rating levels.

Level 1 (Kid Safe) will restrict play

-

back to discs suitable for people of all 

ages.

Level 8 (Adult) will allow playback of 

all discs, including those suitable for 

adults only.
A setting of OFF will disable the Rating 

Level lock.

To change the rating level:

Select “Rating Level” from the menu 

and press 

.

Use the Navigation Keypad to select 

the desired Rating Level.

Press 

. You will be prompted to 

enter the Parental Settings pass-

word. Enter the correct password 

and then press 

 to finish chang

ing the Rating Level.

Change

Change the Parental Settings password.

Enter the old password, the new password, and then the 

new password again to verify and change the Parental Set

tings password. Restoring the player’s default settings will 

not reset the password.
