5.1

Power source

There are different options for the power supply:

• The 24 VDC ship supply provides power for the ACU.

• An AC line provides power through an AC/DC power supply. The TT-

6080A Power Supply is recommended.

In order to protect against short circuit in the power cable/connector, the
ship’s DC outlet must be protected by a 30 A fuse or circuit breaker.

Note

Be aware of high start-up peak current: 35 A at 24 VDC, 5 ms.
