PERATING

I

NFORMATION

FRESH WATER

The freshwater system provides potable (drinkable)
water to the sink and transom shower. Refer to

Section 1

,

Specifications,

for the capacity of the

water system.

The system is operated by a 12V DC water pump
located in the engine compartment. It is necessary
for the 12V DC system to be energized and the
WATER PRESSURE switch to be turned on to
operate the water system.

The water pump works on demand. It will not
automatically shut off when the freshwater tank is
empty. Monitor the level of water in the tank. If the
water pump is allowed to run continuously, it may
overheat.

Water Level Indicator

If your Cobalt is equipped with the level indicator
display panel, it will show the level of the water
and/or waste in the tanks as follows:

Fresh Water

MACERATOR DISCHARGE
PUMP - OPTIONAL

The macerator system allows the discharging of
waste water directly overboard through a seacock.
The seacock’s valve, located under the helm
access cover, must be opened to allow activation of
the macerator pump switch located in the head
area. For additional operating information, refer to
the macerator operator’s manual supplied with your
Cobalt boat.

BATTERY CHARGER

If your Cobalt boat is equipped with shore power, it
will include a multi-bank charger located on the
bulkhead forward of the port engine. Anytime your
boat is connected to shore power, the battery
charger will operate to keep the batteries fully
charged.

Refer to the battery charger operator’s manual for
additional information.

COCKPIT TONNEAU COVER -
OPTIONAL

Follow these directions for the cockpit tonneau
cover.

1. Unroll the cover and snap to the deck, starting

at the center of the windshield. Snap to the
forward outside edge of the windshield only.

NOTICE: Overboard discharge
of waste water should only be
used in approved areas. It is
your responsibility to comply
with local regulations regarding
the discharge of waste. You
could be fined if your boat has
an operable overboard
discharge system.
