08 Best practices
Sit down and relax a few minutes before recording
measurements with the Coala to ensure the most accurate
reading.
Before executing measurement recordings make sure to:
• Sit down comfortably during the entire recording.
• Avoid lying down or standing up.
• Be extra careful to; hold Coala steady, be completely still
and do not talk during the measurement recording. Do not
stand up or move around.
• Keep your phone within reaching distance to ensure proper
radio signal transmission from the Coala to the Coala App.
If Coala indicates an unreadable value make sure to perform
another measurement.
A deviating value could occur without anything being wrong,
high heart rate from physical activity or from other factors.
