Operation
Plug the heater into the power socket located in the cabin of the vehicle. The outlet
socket inside the car should be connected to the power inlet socket on the outside of
the vehicle via a permanently installed cable. The cable must be rubber-coated with
a core area of at least 1.5 mm² (H05RN-F) and encased in a flexible metal armour
sheath. The car heater can be placed on the floor and be pointed upwards using
the adjustable stand. The heater can also be mounted under the glove compartment
or centre console using the supplied bracket.
Overheating protection
The car heater has a built-in thermal over-temperature protection device. If the over-
temperature protection is triggered, the car heater is automatically shut off.
Once the heater has cooled, it will work again as normal.
The over-temperature protection device is reset by unplugging the heater from
the power socket. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes for the heater to cool before plugging it
in and using it again.
As an extra safety measure the heater is also fitted with a thermal fuse safety cut-off.
This thermal fuse cannot be reset, so if it has blown the car heater cannot be reused
and should be discarded.
