19.6 The operation of the clock synchronization serial communication of the slave selection
input function
Channel 0 of SCI0 is a channel that supports clock synchronization serial communication with the Slave
select input function.
[Sending and receiving data].
• 7-bit or 8-bit data length (SCI0).
Data length
from 7 to
16 bits (SCI1/SCI2).
• Phase control of sending and receiving data
•
MSB/LSB preferred
• Level setting for sending and receiving data
[Clock Control].
• Phase control of input/output clocks
• Set the transmission period generated by the prescaler and the internal counter of the channel.
• Maximum transfer rate

[Interrupt function].
• Transmit end interrupt, buffer empty interrupt
[Error Detection Flag].
• Overflow error

data sheet
for details.
The slave selection input function has the following 3 kinds of communication operation:
• Slave send (see 19.6.1).
• Slave reception (cf.19.6.2).
• Slave sending and receiving (cf.19.6.3).
