1. If filter is installed above the waterline, use self-priming pump.
2. Position Filter as close to pool as local codes allow.
3. Ensure filter is set on level concrete slab.
4. Make sure pressure gauge and label are oriented for convenient access and viewing
5. Ensure that proper clearance is allowed on sides and top of filter.
a. Minimum of 14” vertical overhead clearance to allow removal of filter cartridge for cleaning
b. Minimum of 6” around perimeter of filter body recommended for servicing of filter element.
1. Ball Valve recommended before pump and after filter
2. Inlet and outlet connection are 2” Schedule 40 Socket
3.
Filter body is made out of ABS material. If mating pipe is PVC, use ABS to PVC
Glue.
