Appendix C – Foot/Ankle (Metatarsals
and Phalanges) Use
1 . Remove Velcro tab “A” and loosen
strap . (Figure 1)
2 . If unit is to be applied over a cast,
remove liner pad . Otherwise, leave
liner pad installed . (Figure 2)
3 . Place foot through strap opening .
(Figure 4)
4 . Center treatment coil directly over
fracture site as prescribed by your
physician and secure strap .
(Figure 3)
5 . To shorten or lengthen the strap,
move Velcro tab “B” along the strap .
(Figure 1)
6 . To tighten or loosen the strap, re-
move and reposition Velcro tab “A” .
