Make sure that the DC electrical cord has the warning tag attached. Make sure that the warning tag
has no damage and all words can be read. Replace a missing or damaged warning tag immediately.
ELECTRICAL PLUGS AND RECEPTACLES
NOTICE
IF THE PLUG PINS ARE BENT, SPEAK WITH YOUR LOCAL DEALER
OR DISTRIBUTOR FOR REPAIRS. DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR THE AC
CORD PLUG OR PINS.
Examine electrical plugs for wear and damage before use. Immediately replace electrical plugs for:
• Bent pins
• Corrosion
• Cracks
• Loose connections
• Missing pins
• Worn pins
TROUBLESHOOTING
DIAGNOSTIC CODE
The charger is designed to show a diagnostic code if a fault occurs.
To find the shown fault:
1. Count the number of red flashes on the charger indicator lamp. The charger will pause between
fault code displays.
2. Use the Fault Code Identification And Recommended Solutions table to find the fault and
recommended solution.

High Voltage Sensed
Make sure that vehicle batteries are rated for 48
volts and have 24 cells. Replace batteries as
necessary.
Reset charger by removing electrical power for a
minimum 15 seconds.

Low Voltage Sensed
Make sure that vehicle batteries are rated for 48
volts and have 24 cells. Replace batteries as
necessary.
Do a voltage check on each individual vehicle
battery. Replace batteries as necessary.
Reset charger by removing electrical power for a
minimum 15 seconds.
