16. Introduction to Music Home
The MUSIC HOME can also be the main hub for accessing content from a LOCAL MEDIA
(USB or internal hard drive) or from a NETWORKED MEDIA or from the APPS MARKET.
File Browser
Using the file browser, you can copy, move, delete and rename files. You can view
information and download poster art. The file browser displays all your folders and files in
list format and allows for different sort and filter options.
Networked Media Access and browse your network shares from the network
option. Network shares that you have added are listed at the
top and any other auto-discovered network devices are
listed below. If a username and password is required to
access the share, you will be prompted.
Local Media Browse your media files stored on your external connected
USB device, such as portable HDD, USB Thumb drive, and
optical device.
16.1 Local Media
To navigate to the content in your local media, plug in your local media to the
respective ports. After that, click on the local media on your music home.
Select the content you would like to play in your local media.
