For models 4-5500-30, 4-5500-36, 4-5501-
30 & 4-5501-36.
Place platform(s) on side.
Using two persons, position left side of staircase (pre-
attached handrails and uprights) on left side of
staircase and line up holes.
Attach all uprights with 2-1/4" hex bolts using
a washer under the bolt head and a washer
against the locknut. Tighten securely with 9/16"
socket wrench and 9/16" crescent wrench.
Repeat steps 1 & 2 for the right side of
the staircase.
For models 4-5501-30 & 4-5501-36.
Place connecting back rail (H) into position and
secure with 1-1/4" silver bolts and
3/4" silver washer in front of 7/16" locknut.
For models 4-5080-30 & 4-5080-36.
(hadrails come pre-attached to the two
units)
Fasten the two base sections together either in the straight
configuration or in the corner configuration using the (6)
2-1/4" hex bolts with a washer against the locknut. Tighten
securely with 9/16" socket wrench or crescent wrench.
