CP-23 into Zone 1.
Press the red help button on the Base Station/Control Panel once to learn CP-23
into Zone 2.
Press no button on the Base Station/Control Panel to learn CP-23 into Zone
3~Zone 100.
Step 3. Press and hold the CP-23 button for 8 seconds until you hear a long beep. The
red LED of CP-23 is turned on. CP-23 is now in learning mode. Now the LED of
CP-23 turns from red to green. The green LED blinks. The Base Station/Control
Panel will emit two quick beeps. CP-23 will emit one beep about 5 seconds later
and its green LED will be turned on and then go off instantly. CP-23 has been
successfully learned in.

You cannot learn in the same CP-23 twice.
Step 4. Check if CP-23 has been learned in successfully. Press the button on CP-23 and you
will hear continuous beeps from CP-23. When CP-23 beeps, the Base
Station/Control Panel will respond with a long beep to indicate that CP-23 is within
the operation range.
Step 5. Please refer to the Mobile Pers manual or the MX manual to put the Base
Station/Control Panel out of learning mode. The learning process is now complete.

Step 1. Please refer to the Control Panel manual and put the Control Panel into the learning
mode.
Step 2. Press and hold the CP-23 button for 8 seconds until you hear a long beep. The red
LED of CP-23 is turned on. CP-23 is now in learning mode.
Step 3. Now the LED of CP-23 turns from red to green. After 5 to 20 seconds, the Control
Panel will display a message of CP-23, indicating the Control Panel receives a learn
code form CP-23. Press the Ok button on the main unit or configuration webpage to
learn in CP-23. Afterwards CP-23 will emit one beep and its green LED will be turned
on and then go off instantly. CP-23 has been successfully learned in.

Step 4. To check if the CP-23 is successfully learnt in, enable the Control Panel to get into
the Walk Test Mode first and press the
CP-23 ACTIVE
button. If you hear
continuous beeps from CP-23 and meanwhile the Control Panel responds with a
long beep, showing CP-23 message on LCD or configuration webpage respectively.
It indicates that the CP-23 is successfully learnt in. If not, the learning process fails.
Reset CP-23 first and then repeat Step 2 accordingly.
Step 5. Exit the Control Panel out of Learning Mode. The Learning process is now complete.

Re-learning is only required if the CP-23 is removed, but not required after battery
replacement. To remove CP-23, you have to remove it from the Control Panel first and
then reset it to factory default
