A Wide Variety of Applications
Do you need to put the axial feed unit on one end of the bar and the
rotational drive on the other? No problem... all you need to do is use the
leadscrew block clamped or tack welded to the work piece. In fact, just
about any arrangement of components can be used as long as you
maintain rigidity by placing bearing supports as close as possible to the
holes to be bored. Need to align and multiple holes? Just use a long bar
and weld a bearing bracket at each hole for support or use optical
alignment for easy & precise setup over long distances. Modular
components let you use the machine in a wide variety of combinations.
