EN
• Use only commercially available hoses in accordance with EN1763-1
or EN16436-1.
• Your Clifton uses gas pressure regulators in compliance with the
country-specific standard (see diagram below).
• Do not use an adjustable pressure regulator.
• CAUTION: Use only Clifton outdoor fires related pressure regulators.
The use of other pressure regulators is not permitted and can lead to
serious malfunctions and life-threatening accidents!
• Make sure that the hose is not kinked or twisted and can not come
into contact with hot and / or sharp surfaces.
• Carefully place the lava stones around the burner one at a time,
without chipping. Make sure the lava stones are layered at the same
height with the burner, but do not completely cover it. Please do not
pour the lava stones over the burner.
• When using the accessory ceramic logs, place the first log in the
center of the burner and stack the others on the first log as if it were a
campfire. Be careful not to block the torch ring, as this will make it
difficult to ignite or prevent it and will not create a nice flame play.
• Insert the supplied AA battery into the battery compartment of the
electric ignition. This is located at the bottom of the front of the burner
insert on the control panel. Gently turn the lid to the left and insert the
battery with the "plus side" facing outwards. You can then tighten the
lid by hand again.
