How to Set User-Selectable Features
T
o change the setting of any one or more of the User-Selectable Features,
simply select the feature you wish to change from the chart on the
following page, perform the steps below, flick the valet switch the number of
times indicated, then turn off the ignition.
To change the setting of a user-selectable feature:
1. Select the feature you wish to set from the chart on the next page.
2. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
3. Within 10 seconds, flick the valet/programming switch back and forth,
counting each confirmation chirp. Stop when you reach the number of
chirps indicated for the feature you wish to set.
4. If noted, perform the “Supplemental action.”
5. Wait for the “Completion confirmation.”
6. Turn the ignition off.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for any other features you wish to set.
Adding New Remote Control(s)
Your Nova III can function with as many as four different Clifford remote
controls, regardless of their types, specific codes or number of channels.
Adding one or more additional remote controls is simple, just use the
procedure noted in the How to Set User-Selectable Features on pages 9-10.
NOTE: You can obtain additional remote controls from any Authorized
Clifford Dealer, or call the Clifford Customer Service Department toll-free
at (800) 824-3208.
How to Delete the Code of a Lost or Stolen Remote Control
To delete the code of a lost or stolen remote control from the system memory,
simply program buttons I, II and the I+II combination of your current remote
control into the system 4 times (see How to Add a New Remote Control on the
previous page). If you have two remotes, program each twice. If using three
or more remote controls, program all of them so that the total adds up to 4.
