2.Disassembly

Removing the Modem

1. Turn

off

the computer, remove the battery (

page 2 - 5

), and remove the hard disk bay cover (

page 2 - 6

2. The modem will be visible at point

on the mainboard.

3. Remove screws

from the modem module.

4. Lift the modem up off the socket

and separate the modem from the connector

5. Lift the modem up and off the computer.

b. Remove the screws.
c. Lift the modem up off the

socket and disconnect
the connector.

d. Lift the modem out.
