Removing the Battery

If you are confident in undertaking upgrade procedures yourself, for safety
reasons it is best to remove the battery.

Battery Removal Process

1.

Turn the computer 

off

, and turn it over.

2.

Locate the battery bay at point 

.

3.

Slide the battery lock 

 in the direction of the arrow (towards the unlock 

symbol 

), and hold it in place.

4.

Slide the battery 

 out of the computer’s battery bay.
