Introduction

LCD Brightness Control Knob

Adjust the brightness of the computer’s LCD panel with this control.

Volume Control Knob

Adjust the sound from your audio source (CD or DVD) with this
control.

Dual PC Card Slots

There are two Type-II PC card slots, or the slot may be used for one
Type III PC card (PC cards were also previously referred to as PC-
MCIA). Refer to “The PC Card Slot” on page 2 - 10 for more in-
formation on the PC Card slots.

Sound Volume Adjustment

How high the sound volume can be set using the volume control knob de-
pends on the setting of the volume control within

Windows

. Click the

Speaker icon on the taskbar (Or go to Start>Programs>Accesso-
ries>Entertainment>Volume Control) to check the setting.

All peripherals must be connected before you turn on the system.
