INSTALL ROOF PANELS ON OUTRIGGER FRAME
The length of the frame shown in the diagrams may differ
from the actual frame. Consult the Panel Installation
Diagram near the back of these instructions to determine
where to install the different panel lengths.
IMPORTANT:
Position all upper, first-row panels with the
anti-siphon groove to the top and against the main frame.
The classic rib of these first row panels will overlap the rib
with the anti-siphon groove of the second row of panels.
Repeat this pattern throughout the installation of outrigger
roof panels.
1. After consulting the Panel Installation Diagram for your
building, position the first metal panel on the outrigger
roof as shown. A 20' frame is shown as an example.
2. Align the panel with the edge of the end rafter and
secure the panel to the frame using Tek screws and
neo-bonded washers installed through the panel and
into the rafter in the locations shown.
NOTE:
DO NOT secure the lower edge of the panel
until it overlaps the rib of the second row panel, which
has the anti-siphon groove, when that panel is installed.
Do not install any screws along the overlap edge until
the
next panel in the same row
is installed.

3. Take the next panel for the first row and set it in
position on the frame.
4. Overlap the previous panel as desired and secure it to
the rafters as previously described.
5. Using the Panel Installation Diagram as a guide for
frames longer than what is shown,
install the remaining
panels for this first row
and continue with the next step.
6. Select the first panel of the next row and place it in
position on the frame.
NOTE:
This procedure shows alternating the different
panel lengths when a new row is covered to avoid
creating a seam in the same location on the same
rafter. There are other installation methods.
7. Slide the upper panel edge under the lower edge of the
panel in the previous row and secure the panel.

For best results, seal all overlap
seams with sealant purchased
locally.
NOTE:

panel. Repeat
