tools required
Pencil, Hammer, Three (3) Screws, Anchors (if mounting to drywall),
Small Phillips Screw Driver and a Drill
Determine where the speaker is to be mounted and whether it is to

be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Unscrew the Fastener thumbscrews on either sides of the speaker
2.
to remove the U-bracket.
Using the U-bracket as a template, mark the three holes in the wall
3.
with a pencil.
Drill the appropriate size holes for the screws or anchors as
4.
necessary depending on the mounting surface being used (wood,
drywall, etc.)
If mounting in drywall, use the hammer and carefully tap an anchor
5.
into each of the drilled holes.
Line the U-bracket up with the holes and screw it in place.

Adjust the Wattage Tap on
7.
the back of the speaker
for the 8Ω (“THRU”) or the
appropriate 100V or 70V
position.
Carefully remove about
8.
3/8” of insulation from the
ends of the speaker wires.
Loosen the two speaker

wire input post screws on
the back of the speaker.
Wrap the positive (usually

white-striped) wire around
the positive (red) Input
Post Screw and carefully
tighten securely.
Repeat for the negative
11.
(usually clear) speaker
wire, wrapping it around
the negative (silver) Input
Post Screw and carefully
tighten it to secure in
place.
Position the speaker so the

speaker mounting holes line
up with the two U-bracket
fastener holes.
Insert each of the thumbscrew
13.
fasteners through the bracket
mounting holes and tighten to
secure speaker to U-bracket.

: Do not over-tighten the screws.
