11 

“Winterizing” Instructions 

This  procedure  must  be  done  whenever  the  system  is  being  stored  or 

transported  in  temperatures  below  freezing,  in  order  to  prevent  water  in  the  
piston  pump  and  water  lines  from  freezing  causing  them  to  crack,  expand      
and/or break. Use the step by step instructions and instructional decal pictured 
here to guide you through the process. 

 

1) 

Disconnect  the  water  inlet  hose  and  drain  all  water  from  the  
holding  tank  and  pressure  vessel  by  opening  the  “Water  Tank 
Drain” as well as the “Slurry Dump Valve”.
