Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
❐
Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
❐
Only iron on a stable,
fl

mend that you use a standard ironing board.
❐
Do not iron on surfaces made from glass or plastic.
❐
Always work with suf
fi

❐
Never exceed the maximum
fi

max
marking on the water reservoir!). If
possible, only
fi

❐
Never pour any cleaning agent or other chemical additives into the device. This
could destroy the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.
❐
Do not pour any descaling agents into the water reservoir.
❐
Do not pour hot water into the water reservoir.
❐
Open the water reservoir cover only to
fi
ll the water reservoir. Otherwise keep the
cover closed while operating the iron.
❐
Never cover up the steam nozzles and do not stick any objects into them.
❐
Operate the steam switches only when the water reservoir is
fi

otherwise the water pump may be damaged and the useful service life of the device
may be shortened.

❐
Never iron for too long on one spot to prevent damage to the clothing.
❐
Place the device on an even, stable surface during and shortly after use. Always
place the device upright on its base to prevent damage to the surface which could
be caused by the hot bottom section of the iron.
❐
Put the device back into its storage position only once it has completely cooled down
and there is no more water in the water reservoir.
❐
Store the device in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to children. When you do
this, place the device upright on its base on a
