MAINTAINING SUCTION SYSTEM

This professional vacuum cleaner works with a safety valve which will function automatically to prevent the motor 
from overheating when blockage occurs with the suction system�

Changing the dust bag

When the safety valve makes a sound and 

opens automatically, and the suction power 

decreases considerably, this means that the 

dust bag is full. To change it, proceed as 

follows:

Lift the release latch in the direction of the 

arrow and open the top cover.

Take the dust bag out and replace it with a 

new one. Place the rubber ring of the dust 

bag carefully over the inner part of the suction 

hole. Close the top cover and fasten latch.

Cleaning the motor inlet filter

Turn the filter retainer (15) clockwise to the 

position where it can be removed from the 

filter.

Take the motor inlet filter (14) out and tap it. 

If it is very dirty, it should be rinsed. After 

cleaning, leave them to dry thoroughly. Then 

place the filter retainer back by turning it anti-

clockwise to lock.

Important

The filter should always be cleaned or 

changed whenever any type of blockage 

occurs with the suction.
To guarantee trouble – free operation, use only 

Ufesa parts. You can get these replacements 

at your local shopping centre or from an 

authorized dealer.

The vacuum cleaner must never be switched 

on unless these filters are fitted correctly.
It is advisable to replace the filter after having 

changed the paper dust bags, at least, once a 

year (it depends on the use of the appliance)

Cleaning the appliance

Clean the accessories and the appliance with 

a damp cloth and left to dry before reusing 

it. 
Always unplug the vacuum from the mains 

supply before cleaning it. 
Do not use a scourer, glass-cleaning agent or 

multipurpose cleaning product and never 

immerse the appliance in water.
