SHAMPOOING (cont.)
•
Run the machine from right to left or vice-
versa and back the other direction with an
overlap of about a quarter of the strip
already treated.
•
Then run the machine in a spiral pattern
over the shampooed area (both strips at the
same time).
•
During shampooing it is highly
recommended to immediately remove the
treated/ shampooed area a section at a time
with an extractor.
ASSEMBLING THE SPRAYMASTER
•
Attach the holder for the spray bottle to the
handle (7) with the holder pointing upwards
and to the left (view from the operator).
•
Slide the spray can’s tongue into the holder
and turn the holder backwards until the ball
catch engages.
•
Then slide the spring clip over the handle.
•
Attach the box on the right or left, as desired
(H).
•
Point the universal-jointed hose in the
desired direction.
POLISHING WITH R44-450 / R44-DUAL-SPEED
•
For polishing floors, the floor-machine can
be equipped with the following accessories:
o
Pad driver with white pad for high speed
polishing or buffing.
•
Attach the pad driver with pad onto the
machine.
•
Start the machine.
STORAGE OF FLOOR MACHINE
This floor machine should be stored in an
upright position. Objects should not be stored or
stacked on top of unit.
Always store the floor machine in a dry,
protected area at temperatures above freezing.
This unit should not be stored in vehicles or
areas where extreme heat or cold occurs.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
•
Only do maintenance work described in
this manual.
•
Always use original spare parts.
•
WARNING! Do not make any technical
alterations to floor machine. This can
put your safety at risk and will void the
warranty.
•
Always contact authorized service
center or factory for other maintenance
and repair work.
If you maintain the machine carefully it will stay
in good working condition for a long period of
time. Regularly check the machine for any wear
and tear.
•
Before cleaning or servicing the
machine always turn off the brush motor
and unplug the power cord.
•
Don’t damage the cord by driving over it,
crushing or tugging it.
•
Regularly check the power cord for
signs of damage.
•
When transporting the machine in
elevators, always put the handle in
straight-vertical position. The handle is
automatically secured against recoil by
the patented handle adjustment unit.
•
Never use highly flammable,
combustible, toxic, health-hazardous,
corrosive or irritant substances.
Always disconnect power cord before cleaning and maintaining the floor machine.
WARNING
