Preliminary Operations
Before Initial Use
Remove any packaging materials that may be present in the
oven.
CAUTION:
Before initial use please operate the oven for 15 minutes to
remove the protective coating on the heating element. Set the
temperature control to „top and bottom heat“.
NOTE:
Any smoke or smells produced during this procedure are
normal. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.
How to use
1. The timer must be switched to the OFF position.
2. Connect the device to a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz protec-
tive contact socket.
3. Open the door and place the food to be cooked in the oven.
Use the baking tin for meat. The grill is suitable for preparing
toast If you would like to use other tableware, please ensure
that this is sufficiently heat-resistant.
4. Close the oven door.
5. Set the required heating with the upper knob (top or bottom
heating or both together).
6. Use the lower knob (timer) to set the desired cooking time.
Please see the table in these instructions for reference
values.
7. After the set time has expired, the machine automatically
switches off and a short ringing is heard. The control lamp
goes off. The timer can continue for a short time (ticking
sounds).
8. If you would like to terminate the heating process prema-
turely, simply turn the button of the timer to the left to the
OFF position.
9. If the cooking time is to be set to less than three minutes,
please first set the timer to approximately 10 minutes and
then to 3 minutes, for example.
10. In the case of short cooking times (under 5 minutes) it is
recommended that the oven is preheated briefly (approxi-
mately 3 minutes) without food.
11. When the oven is switched off, you can open the door again
and take out the food.
WARNING: This is hot!
For your safety you should use a cloth or similar object.
