NOISE

• These power sources alone do not produce noise levels exceeding 80 dB.
• The cutting procedure, however, may produce noise levels in excess of 80 dB in

which case the operator must take the necessary safety precautions as prescribed by

the national safety regulations.

PACEMAKER

• Magnetic fields created by the high currents in the cuffing circuit can affect pacemaker operation.

• Persons wearing electronic life support equipment (pacemakers) should consult their doctor

before going near any arc welding, gouging, cutting,, or spot welding equipment in operation.
