Keep handles clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
• Avoid accidental starts. Make sure the air pressure is in the off position when not in use and
before making any connections.
• Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not use tools when you are tired.
• Before using a tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine
that it will function properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment and
securement of moving parts, any broken parts or fasteners, and any other items.
• Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use
of any other parts will void the warranty. Use only accessories intended for this tool.
• Do not use the tool if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read the warning labels
if you are taking prescription drugs to determine if your judgment or reflexes are affected by the
medication. If in doubt, do not use the tool.
• Caution should be exercised when in the vicinity of the spool, spark plug wires, or running
engine. the engine should always be stopped if adjustments are to be made.
• Maintenance: For your safety, service and maintenance should be performed regularly by a
qualified technician.

Brake Fluid Drainer Safety Precautions
Caution: This equipment is designed to be used by qualified and trained personnel. It should only
be used after reading and understanding the safety warnings and operating procedures in this
instruction manual and the vehicle service manual.
• Do not smoke near this equipment. Use in a well-ventilated area.
• When leaks are found in the equipment or hoses, immediately shut off the air pressure and
repair the leaks.
• Immediately clean up any spilled or leaking fluid.
• Do not exceed the recommended operating air pressure. Doing so may damage the equipment.
• Do not use cleaning agents in this system.
• Keep an empty plastic pail nearby in case of leaks. Keep an ABC fire extinguisher nearby in
case of leaks.
• Each vehicle has specific brake bleeding requirements. It is not possible within the scope of this
manual to properly describe the procedure for each vehicle.
Before using the brake bleeder, be sure to place the vehicle's transmission in the "PARK" (if
automatic) or "NEUTRAL" (if manual) position. Then set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
• Use the brake fluid bleeder only with brake fluid. Contamination of the brake fluid and possible
failure of the brake system may result.
• Follow the instructions for proper brake fluid disposal. Used brake fluid must be properly
disposed of or recycled. Contact your local solid/liquid waste management authority for
recycling information. Do not reuse used brake fluid.
• Do not use pressurized air to blow off brake dust. Use only brake parts cleaner to clean dust
from brake calipers.
• Be careful with hot brake components and other hot vehicle components to avoid burns and
accidents. Some brake pads contain asbestos. Asbestosis, a chronic inflammation of the lungs,
can result from prolonged inhalation of asbestos particles.
Therefore, wear appropriate respirators and protective clothing when working around brake
pads.
• Always prevent brake fluid from coming into contact with the vehicle's paint. Brake fluid can
damage vehicle paint.
