Safety

Caution:

•  Never use the thermometer in the oven or  

the microwave.

•  Remove the battery if the thermometer is not 

to be used for an extended period.

•  Plastic parts of the thermometer can withstand 

temperatures from −10 °C to 50 °C.

Operation

•  Press the ON/OFF button. After a second  

all functions will show on the display and  
the thermometer will be ready for use.

•  Select the temperature display (Celsius or 

Fahrenheit) by pressing the °F/°C button.

•  In order to get an accurate reading as possible 

the sensor should be placed at least 10 mm 
into the liquid or material to be measured.

Max/min temperature

•  Press the max/min  button to display the lowest 

measured (min-) temperature.

•  Press the max/min  button twice to display  

the highest measured (max-) temperature.

•  The display will return to displaying the current 

temperature after 3 seconds.

•  The memory for max and min temperatures are 

erased when the thermometer is turned off.

Changing batteries 

It is time to change batteries when the low-battery 
indicator appears on the display.
•  Open the battery cover by loosening the three 

screws which hold it secure.

•  Place an SR44 battery in the battery  

compartment. Make sure the plus poles  
are facing upwards.

•  Screw the battery cover back securely.

Disposal

The thermometer contains a battery. Follow local 
ordinances when disposing of this product. If you 
are unsure of how to dispose of this product, 
please contact your municipality.
